Girls just wanna have fun

The weather outside might have been bitter cold and snowy, but tonight, we were on fire! Tonight we had a girl's night out full of bowling and fun. You can't beat dollar night at the base bowling alley where everything from shoes to burgers only costs $1. We had a great time and decided that Wii (and a little help from the bumpers) does actually help to improve your bowling score. (I wouldn't know this from personal experience because we are about the only ones in the civilized world who do not own a Wii.)

Our scores may not have been high (The high score was 120 - I scored 115, but who's bragging?) but we didn't let that stop us from having fun.

*Disclaimer* There is an unfortunate problem with taking pictures while bowling, you end up with lots of behinds and not many faces.

Looks like fun--and love the St Patty's blog look.

It looks like everyone had a great time. $1 yippee!!!! I'd brag with a score of 115.

I know your weather is a lot like ours--brrrrrrr.

How fun!! Oh, and you're not alone in being the last family on the planet to not own a wii! ;)

That looks like fun. It's good to know that the Wii is helpful. My boys think they are experts at everything now (golf, baseball and bowling) just because they can do the wii version. LOL.

Love your clovers!
You have nice friends, there's NO WAY I would have let you take pictures of a)me bowling and b)my backside.

115 is pretty impressive. I've never broken 100.

I love bowling, I am just not very good at it!

I don't have a wii.

I love bowling.

I always use bumper pads, cause I do not rock at bowling.

I would love a dollar night for bowling.

I have typed blowling every time I tried to type bowling.

I have to admit this was one of the funnest nights I've had in a long time. Thank you for setting this up, and for not rubbing in how great you are at bowling! Also loving the pictures, we definitely need to do this again SOON!!

How fun to go bowling! And how much better that it was cheap! :) We don't have a Wii either so we can have our own club! ;)

I had a blast, even if you guys put the bumpers up for me. You are not the only one without a Wii, we don't have one either.

Amanda, how are you doing??? Are you busy studying the parts of a colon? ;)

When you have a free moment, please come and see the project that I've been working on, on my Blog! :)

That blonde gal looks like Tina Yothers from Family Ties. I've never been good at bowling.
