Today marks my 90th day without chocolate. Yeeeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaawwwwww!!!!!!!!
Actually 90 days has gone by faster than I expected and for the most part it wasn't as hard as I expected either. Sure, there have been hard days, especially around Valentines Day and Easter, but it really wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be. I do have to admit that I did stock up a little on easter chocolate. 
I knew that Cadbury Creme eggs would not be around by now, nor would the Hershey's Vanilla Creme kisses, so I have some hidden in my fridge. Plus there are those deliciously yummy, melt in your mouth, thin mints Girl Scout cookies that should be arriving soon.

Plus there are those I just have to make it through the rest of today and then tonight I am going on a hot date with my hot hubby. For dessert I plan on ordering something with chocolate. Then, for my reward for going 90 days without chocolate, we get to go shopping. :)
My biggest fear about my time being up is that I will fall back into my old habits. Hopefully I can enjoy chocolate again, but without eating too much of it.

I think the first couple weeks of a new habit like that are so hard. I've been thinking about doing a 90 day no ice cream (nor anything like unto it) kind of deal. Or maybe just no ice cream after 10 pm....Summer would be a miserable time to do no ice cream :(

I could do without chocolate, but if you take away the hot tamales candy, I'd be so sad!!

Yay for for you, Amanda! You've done great. Especially being able to have that chocolate hidden in your fridge all this time, with you knowing it was there for the taking.
It's a good thing your kiddies didn't find it first. I've heard that if you put good things into a brown paper bag marked "Tofu" then no one bothers to look inside. LOL!
