Fun with my new toy

I mentioned in my last post that I got one of those all-in-one scanner, copier printer doodads. I have wanted one forever and it has been so much fun playing around with it and figuring it all out. I was looking through some old pictures to scan and found these treasures.

This is a picture of my sweet little twin girls, Kaylynn and Kimberly. They found a purple marker one day and got a little creative. Luckily it was a washable marker. I wasn't able to find the picture of them when they did the same thing to our bathroom. Colored marker all over the floor and counter and even the toilet. After they got caught, Scott put them both on the bathroom counter and took their picture. They knew they were busted and were crying. It was actually a very funny picture.

Apparently whatever I fed the girls was so bad it put them to sleep.

The next pictures show Kimberly and Kaylynn enjoying life to the fullest. They have always had such a love of life and for each other. Not many people are lucky enough to be born with an instant partner in crime best friend.

Chocolate Challenge update: I started my 3 months without chocolate last friday (January11). I did really good the first day, but the next day I had book club. It was only me and one other girl that showed up. She made brownies and I felt it would be rude to turn them down. ;) So I ate one, and then.....I ate another one. That was Saturday and I have not had any chocolate since then. Except for the chocolate milk I had on Monday with my after workout snack, but I am not counting that. It was 0valtine afterall. It's healthy, right? Three days down, only 87 more to go.

Those pictures are so cute. I love the one of them both asleep at the table--that is PRICELESS!!! How fun for them to enjoy everything together.

I would have done the same thing with the chocolate brownies and would have felt totally justified (I'm very good at rationalizing ; ) Three days down--YIPPEE!!!
I can almost hear your iPod ; )

What cuties! I love the picture of them both asleep at the table. I wonder what you made for dinner that night? ;o)

Hooray for you with your chocolate challenge.

I did secretly want twins. I think they would have been so fun, awesome, and the work would have been worth it.

I used to want twins, up until I married Sei and he had his twins and I had Izzy- all the same age. Yeah, I'm good with my singletons.

What was in the food? Can I get the recipe?

yvonne: I just had to eat one of her brownies, I didn't want to be rude! ;) I'm glad you feel the same way.

nikko: I don't remember what it was, but it sure doesn't look that good when you enlarge the picture. If I remember right they were sick that day.

k- I always thought it would be fun to be a twin, but never thought twice about having twins until it happened. They have been a lot of fun. A lot of work too.

tori: You have triplets, you don't need twins! ;) Megan was so much fun and so easy after having twins.

a little revolution: LOL! I wish I could remember what it was or what my secret ingredient was! They obviously weren't too impressed though.

Oh, and thanks everyone for looking the other way and not commenting on my humongous pile of laundry on the couch in one of the photos! Unfortunately in 5 years I haven't gotten any better at getting it folded and put away.

Oh, your twins are SOOOOO cute! I love the sleeping at the table picture. What are the chances that they both would fall asleep while eating, at the same time? Thats great!

Oh, and you totally HAD to eat those brownies! You are so sweet to have done so. It would have been thoughtless not to.

I don't know why you're giving up chocolate.
It's good for you, you know.

Those pictures are precious!
I always wanted to have a twin. Then I watched "The Parent Trap" and I knew I NEEDED a twin, so I prayed every night I'd get one.

Oh well.
You girls are adorable :)

Oh and way to go on the giving up chocolate.

Just like my Carrot, I don't quite know why you are doing it, but way to go.

I love the twinner photos! That one with the marker is great! And those cowboy boots.

Your great chocolate challenge is great. I'm not sure if I could have turned down the brownies, either.

(ps sorry I couldn't make it to the book club meeting. What are you guys reading these days?)

I gave up ice cream, my biggest weakness. And have gained 7 lbs.
I'm just a little piggie I guess and must be substituting other, LESSER treats. Sadness.
ADORABLE pics - love the sleepy food.
