Earlier this week I was a little blogstipated, thanks CYM for such a great term. This morning my head is like a smorgasboard of bloggy ideas. Rather then get them all out at once I decided I would enlighten you all with my bloggy wisdom a little bit at a time. Stay tuned until next week. In the mean time.....
Last night our Relief Society sponsored a Girl's night out of bowling. It just so happened that the Youth from our ward planned an activity at the same place the same night. Maybe that had something to do with Thursdays being Dollar night at this particular bowling establishment.
Anyway, it was SOOOOOOO much fun. Picture about a dozen women ranging in age from mid 20's to mid 40's laughing and giggling like a bunch of teenaged girls. We were even louder than the actual teenagers. Our bishop was there with the youth and I can only imagine what he was thinking last night. "What on earth is wrong with these women?"
Among those present were our beloved RS presidency. These dear ladies are such a hoot. I left feeling very refreshed and decided that an evening filled with fun, friends and laughter really helps to keep a girl feeling young. I hope we make this a tradition.
*NOTE TO SELF* Must bring camera to next girl's night out to have proof/blackmail of our escapades.

5 people have something to say:
Oh, I hear you. Especially about the camera thing - it would've been great to get pictures of our self defense night last night. :) When you see those people all the time, several times a week, they get to be like family and of course you'd want pictures of them!
That sounds like so much fun! I just giggle with the whole idea! :)
Fun! I love doing girls nights out. I know what you mean about being really loud too. It's great fun!
That sounds absolutely luverly. Amazing how rejuvenated one feels after such an experience, eh?
I too, am now in love with the term "blogstipated". Love it!
I love that you did this for an Enrichment Night!
I'm glad you had a fun girls night!
