After a morning phone call from my mother and a plea to come to Utah, I will be leaving early tomorrow morning to go to Utah. My grandpa and his wife, who happens to be my grandma's sister, (now if that isn't weird I don't know what is!! They got married awhile AFTER my grandma died) are suddenly not doing well. The doctor's have given my step-grandma only a few more days before she leaves us and I imagine my grandpa will not be far behind her. To top it all off my brother-in-law is back in the hospital after his 4-wheeler accident last month. My sister and my family need me so I will be gone for a few days. I am feeling very torn because MY family needs me here too, but I have felt so helpless and have wanted to be there for my sister and now for my mom. I love living where we live, but sometimes it is so hard being far from family. I just hope my husband and kids will survive without the mom for a few days.
Try not to miss me too much and for sure don't have any fun without me, okay maybe a little bit of fun, but not too much!

My goodness!! You do what you HAVE to! I'm sure your family will understand and survive! I hope all goes well! *hugs*
I'm so glad you are able to head home - I'm sure it will be a comfort for your mom. Be safe!
It is always nice to have extra hands and willing hearts available when things get hard.
I hope you have a safe trip...and don't forget to take care of you as well as taking care of others.
