Well it has been over a month since I last wrote on my blog. I figured it was time for an update. Where to begin?
I am not sure if I mentioned before, but we had a lot of snow this winter. Below are a couple of pictures from our fun in the snow. I know it is a little late, but....
We live in a cul-de-sac and this is the pile of snow the snowplow left in the middle of the road so as to not block any driveways. My kids loved it!
Okay, so did I....

Snow angels: Kimberly, Me, and Megan
This is me, attempting to jump gracefully off the trampoline into a pile of snow. Yes, it hurt the next day. I'm not as young as I used to be.

Scott has been working on a project for the last year. He has been restoring an old Mustang for a friend of ours. I can't say who because it is a surprise, so you will just have to wait and find out. Maybe it is you!
This is what it looked like not so many weeks ago.

It has no engine in it at the moment so it has been a family affair moving it back and forth from the garage to the shed so that he could use the garage for this....

It is almost finished. I have a better picture of it, but it has someone in the picture that would definitely give away the surprise, so again you will have to wait. You never know, maybe it is for you! lol
Kimberly and Kaylynn celebrated a birthday since the last time I wrote on my blog. They turned 9 on April 20th. It is unbelievable to me that they are that old! If you are new to my blog and/or have never read their birth story, which I love to share, go here .

and here....

...next month. We are headed to Pensacola Beach for a couple of days and then going on a cruise to Cozumel for a few more days. As you can imagine we are totally excited for this. We have been wanting to do something like this for a long time and we are finally doing it! I am sure I will have lots of pictures to share when we get back. We are meeting up with some church friends of ours that have moved away, so it will be nice to see them all again. I can't wait!

I am still trudging along on my medical transcription training. That is where I have spending most of time lately. 115 reports done, only 685 to go. I was hoping to be done by June, but it is looking more like this fall sometime. I am not stressing about it, when it happens it happens.

15 people have something to say:
So, that picture of you jumping "gracefully" is awesome. Thank you for sharing.
And I love the picture of all the kids pushing the mustang. That's just cute. Stuff like that makes me wish I had a hobby. I could totally restore a maserati for someone....could be youuuuuuuu!
I'm insanely jealous of the trip. That will be SO WONDERFUL! I'm glad you are getting to do it. We dream about it every year, but it will be a few more...
nobody: A maserati would be awesome! My husband has decided that the next care he restores will be for us. I should suggest a Maserati, then you can come visit me and we will go for a drive!
How fun that you are going on such a fun vacation!!! I hope you have a great time. It will make that fun snow pile seem like nothing! ;) I want to hear all about your trip!
How cool that your hubby is restoring a mustang. I recall that you wanted a red Mustang. Is it for you??? If not, are you going to swipe it? :D
I'd love to see you when you're here in July. Just let me know when you're coming!
I've really missed reading your posts. Welcome back, Amanda!
Amanda, it's so nice to "see" you again! That snow pile looks like so much fun. I'll have to show it to my kids later today. We just don't see snow like that here!
The car looks so nice!
I bet you will have so much fun on your vacation. I hope you take lots of pictures.
I have been wondering how you are doing!
I have always wanted a mustang. Too bad it's not for me!
Have a great vacation!
suzanne: No it is not for me. I wish! I will let you know what my Utah plans are as soon as I know. I know July is probably going to be a crazy month for you. So I'll try not to make it worse! :)
nikko: This was the most snow we have had in 7 years of living here. I can go another 7 years without seeing it! lol
heffalump: You never know, it might be for you. ;)
I love how gracefully and easily you landed on the snow.
The car looks awesome!
Look at those beaches!!! SO LUCKY!
You guys are going to have so much fun!
The beaches look awesome, I would love to be going along. Someday Matt and I would love to take a cruise as well.
I love the picture of you jumping into the snow. I do things all the time that the next day I wonder what I was thinking. As you said we are not as young as we use to be.
I'm sure you are as happy as I am that the snow is gone--but when I watched the weather report today and saw it was snowing in the province, I ALMOST SCREAMED.
The Mustang looks great--how exciting.
I CAN'T WAIT to hear all about your cruise. ENJOY, ENJOY, ENJOY and need I say, EAT AND EAT AND EAT.
NCS: I am known for my grace! ;)
Lani: Did you want to catch a ride in my suitcase?
Mary: You should do a cruise too!!!! I like to pretend I am still a kid, even though I am not. lol
yvonne: No! Not snow! I am pretty sure we are safe now, but I've heard of snow in June before. Yuck!
I am trying to watch what I eat now so I can enjoy the cruise food later. :)
I thought you were kiding at the beach thing, until I read about the cruise. I still think that it sounds a little curious though. I'm going to have to ask Jourdan this Sunday.
I forgot to mention that the car looks awesome. That is something like what I want to drive when I ahve my liscence!
Awww... I'm so glad y'all are getting to take a trip! LUCKY!!
I just emailed you about the MT stuff. Give me details!!
You are behind on posting and I am way behind on reading and catching up here in blogland! I hope your trip is wonderful.
