Today on Veteran's Day I am grateful for the men and women, and their families, who sacrifice so much in defending our great nation. I am especially grateful for those whom I know personally. In the last 7 years we have made many friends who serve in the Air Force (we live nearby Ellsworth Air Force Base). I have seen firsthand the sacrifices they have made as they send their loved ones off for months at a time. I have seen as they have struggled caring for their children by themselves and even given birth to children while their husbands are gone. I admire and look up to these women a lot for their courage and strength. Thank you so much for your service and your sacrifice so that the rest of us can enjoy our freedom.

I agree 100%. On Sunday when we were visiting one of our Wards which has a few military families living in the boundaries, one of the dads who recently returned from Afghanistan spoke. It was wonderful.
I appreciate so very much those who sacrifice for each of us.
