A little blog bling

I have been the lucky recipient of two blog awards recently.

Thanks to Yvonne for this award: This award was created by Jodi, at Beacon of Hope. She has included a few rules that come with this award:

1. Choose 5 blogs that you consider deserving of this award that are inspirational, uplifting, and leave you with a feeling of hope or cheer that contribute to the blogging community, no matter what language.

This is always the hardest part. I am cheating a little and only picking 3 bloggers to give this award to. Not because there aren't plenty who are deserving, but because these 3 bloggers really stuck out to me right away as being deserving of this award:

Suzanne (her blog is private so I can't link to it) - one of my dearest blog friends! She is a great example to me of perseverance and tremendous faith in the face of pain and tragedy.

Wendy - not only a great blog friend, but a great friend in real life too! Her husband has just recently returned from a looooong deployment and Wendy has remained positive and cheerful while raising their 4 kids alone during his absence.

Mel - who is an inspiration to many! She is a terrific mom to 3 boys, one of which has cerebral palsy. She also is running in a half marathon tomorrow. Go Mel!!! Mel is definitely inspiring!
