So over the next couple of weeks you will have to endure some "repeat" posts. For those of you who just started reading my blog, this will all be new to you. For those of you who have been around awhile, sorry if you get bored. I have enjoyed going back over the last 2 years of my blog entries trying to decide which ones were my favorites. Not that my blog is really that entertaining or inspiring, but I am the author and I am a little partial to certain posts that I have written.
First, before I get to my post for today, I wanted to say thanks to all my wonderful blog friends. Many of you I have never met before, some of you I already knew and some of you I have since been able to meet. Each of you is a blessing to me and I have enjoyed getting to know you better through blogging. Thanks for a great two years.
Without further adieu, I present my first blast from the past.....
This was my very first post, published on July 3, 2006
Oh what do you do in the summertime....

We have been enjoying summer this week. Scott has been on vacation and we have been doing the tourist thing around the black hills. On Wednesday we hiked Harney Peak, the highest point in South Dakota. Not much compared to the mountains of Utah, but beautiful nonetheless. Unfortunately I forgot my camera.
On Thursday we went to Rushmore Waterslides. That was a lot of fun. Again I forgot my camera. For Jordan it was a race to see how many times he could go down. Kimberly and Kaylynn were a little hesitant at first, but soon decided they liked it. Megan was convinced after one ride down with Dad. He put her down and she started racing up the hill without looking back.
On Saturday we all went to Jordan's last baseball game. I did manage to remember to bring the camera. He was a pretty good hitter, or swinger. He has got a good swing, and even hits the ball every once in awhile. He likes to play catcher, I think because that is what his Dad played in little league.
