Feeling the bloggy love

I have been remiss of late in not mentioning the blog awards that my dear bloggy friends have awarded me with. It all started back in October when I was messing around with my blog template and wound up losing my template, along with all my cool sidebar linkage including my blog awards. I was so depressed over the whole deal that I didn't bother putting all my awards back on my sidebar. It has taken me months to even get the little weather pixie back on my sidebar. I don't want to appear ungratetful so I do want to say thank you for the awards that have been given to me. I got two just yesterday! Though I do love getting awards, it is so hard passing them on because I don't want to leave anyone out.

Thank you No Cool Story for the Everyday Kindness award.

I pass this award onto: Yvonne and Mary P a good friend that recently moved from our area. Go check her out, her blog I mean. ;)

Thank you Tori for the You make my day award.

I pass this award onto: Kathleen and Boedee - another friend who has left us for bigger, better tolerable and warmer places.

Kathleen, from So Grateful to be a mormon, awarded me with this 'Excellent' award several weeks ago. Thank you Kathleen.

I pass this award onto: A Little Revolution and Mary from Mary-land.

Phew! That was painful! I hate having to pick and choose. All of my blog readers are worthy of each of these awards
Now I would like to introduce my awards page. This idea is not new, in fact I am stealing this idea from some of my favorite bloggers. This way my awards will be safely tucked away within my blog and they won't get deleted again.
In other news: It has been one month since I started my chocolate challenge. I am proud to say that I have gone 30 days without chocolate. It has been easier than I thought it would be, though I do have hard days still. Like the day my husband asked me to make chocolate chip cookies for his home teaching families. That was hard! I even made it through PMS without any chocolate. That definitely deserves an award! ;)
Still, in other news: We have been going through the stomach flu at our house. Three down and crossing our fingers that we're done. {knock on wood} Yesterday I pretty much sealed the deal in my running for mom of the year when Megan puked all over me. Surpisingly I didn't even gag. Now that is true, unconditional, motherly love if I've ever seen it. Today I can't decide if my stomach really hurts or if it is all in my head. I'm hoping for the latter.

Of course one more accolade for not puking right along with your daughter yesterday (and here's to hoping, hoping, hoping, that you don't come down with it too!). :)

I'm still in awe of your no chocolate thing. Although you inspired me to cut down on my soda intake, drastically cut it down. So thank you for that.

I certainly hope the flu passes thru as quick as possible for yall and that soon enough the house is germ free!

Congrats on your awards! You do deserve an award for not eating chocolate when you had to cook with it.
