Dear Jean's manufacturers:
I do love the way my new jeans fit.....mostly. I only wish that we could stop with the low rise and the below the waistline fit. Really, I don't like having my tighty whiteys playing peekaboo with the world. And if you haven't noticed, it seems that many woman suffer from the same mid-section spillover problem that I do. Somehow the spillage seems to cause my pants to want to ride even lower only adding to the peekaboo problem. Is it really asking too much to add a little more to the tops of the jeans?
Thank you for you consideration.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Peekaboo Pants
Dear makers of Aquaphor Healing ointment:
Thank you so much for developing this product. I love it! Each winter I suffer from dry skin on my fingers that leads to cracked, bleeding and very sore fingertips. Everything from buttoning buttons and tying my shoes to typing on the computer, becomes painful. I have searched far and wide for some sort of lotion or remedy that would both heal and prevent this from happening. Finally a friend recommended Aquaphor. It has been a life-saver. I use it every night before bed and my hands and fingers have been relatively free of this dry skin problem. So I thank you for making my life a little bit easier and little less painful.
Sincere thanks,
A very satisfied customer
Dear Insurance carrier,
Thank you so much for your friendly reminder that it is time once again to schedule my yearly
Warmest regards,
Mrs. Supposedly "Insured"

What a cute idea. I LOVE IT!!! Great letters--I suffer from that same mid-section spillover problem ; (
Have never heard of Aquaphor--will have to look for the ointment.
Thanks.
I totally agree with your grievances with jeans nowadays. I did find a pair at Gap that didn't ride so low. One solution I've found is buying longer t-shirts. And those can typically can be found in the juniors section, but then that poses more issues as well....finding one that doesn't look like you're trying to be younger than you are! Sheesh....can us middle aged (and fabulous) women get a break?! :)
I also agree with you on the jeans subject. Why can't they make both low and high waisted pants. Give us a choice! I think the manufacturers might be surprised at how many people don't like the current fashion trends.
When I was pregnant with my last child, I went to buy some new maternity pants, and at one store I went to, everything I tried on came below my big belly. I did NOT want to share my stretch marks with everyone!
I have to shop in the older lady section of JC Penney to get the higher waistline jeans. Agreed the bulge makes my low rise ones threaten to fall to my ankles.
I am going to go buy some of that lotion. Not even Avon's Moisture Therapy is doing it for me this year.
What a fun idea for a post!
I hear you on the supposedly insured!
Amen on the jeans and insurance! I need my waist just a little bit higher to tuck in the spillage...
You are so funny!! I found out about Aquaphor there in SD for Ashton...love that gooey stuff!! And I so agree with the jean thing....and I am so glad that it is not just me with something spilling over :)
Mid-section spillover problem.
I got some of that going on right now :D It's hard sucking up the spillover constantly, enough with the low low waist.
:)
Spillage is the worst!
Aquaphor is the best! I depend on it for my dry hands too. Baby Aquaphor is also awesome! My little one has really fair sensitive skin. From birth to four months she had a terrible diaper rash that I could not get rid of. She screamed during every diaper change. I tried EVERY product to treat and prevent it. I could only temporarily get rid of it with a prescription. As soon as the prescription was out, the rash was back. Finally a nurse suggested Baby Aquaphor. It is the best!! It is the only product that successful treats and prevents my baby's diaper rash! I order it online and stay stocked up on it. As an added bonus, its also not slimy for my fingers like other diaper creams. Excellent Products!
I love the letters.
I, too, hate trying to find a pair of jeans that fit. Such a pain.
That's stinky that your ins. doesn't pay for preventative stuff. Sorry!
I must concur-Aquaphor is the bomb. Now, where do I go to get my man certificate back for even knowing that?
I hate health insurance companies.
:( Not being covered by insurance and getting such a nice reminder.
:( mid section spill over problem. I can relate.
:( dry hands.
I think I will have to try your Aquaphor. I've never heard of it, but my hands, although not so bad right now, could use more pampering. Thanks for the info!
This was a WAY cute idea. I liked your letter to the Jean Manufacturer the best! You are bomb!
amanda,

Ha ha. What great letters. Gosh there are some very creativepeople out there. I love being inspired by you.
I was just trying to come up with some letters for tonight... These were excellent. inspiring!
I just bought a pair of new shorts for myself. They are really cute black w/ pinstripe and slightly below the knee. I wore them yesterday and found that as they stretched a little through the day they rode lower and lower...and lower... Flashing my "g's" (and I don't mean g string) is just not a good thing!
