I love how Wendy writes her posts as letters sometimes, so I am borrowing her idea.



Dear Jean's manufacturers:

I do love the way my new jeans fit.....mostly. I only wish that we could stop with the low rise and the below the waistline fit. Really, I don't like having my tighty whiteys playing peekaboo with the world. And if you haven't noticed, it seems that many woman suffer from the same mid-section spillover problem that I do. Somehow the spillage seems to cause my pants to want to ride even lower only adding to the peekaboo problem. Is it really asking too much to add a little more to the tops of the jeans?

Thank you so much for developing this product. I love it! Each winter I suffer from dry skin on my fingers that leads to cracked, bleeding and very sore fingertips. Everything from buttoning buttons and tying my shoes to typing on the computer, becomes painful. I have searched far and wide for some sort of lotion or remedy that would both heal and prevent this from happening. Finally a friend recommended Aquaphor. It has been a life-saver. Dear Insurance carrier,
Thank you so much for your friendly reminder that it is time once again to schedule my yearly torture session exam. I was especially impressed that your friendly reminder came complete with friendly reminder stickers to put on my calendar after I schedule my appointments. This is such a friendly service that you provide to your insurance customers, especially since I can never remember when it is time to have my yearly torture session exam. We all know that preventive medicine is the best medicine and I appreciate your concern for my health. You even said in your friendly reminder that, "early detection of disease can save [my] life". Of course I would feel that your concern for my life was more sincere if you actually paid for anything preventive like: pap smears, mammograms, immunizations and well-baby exams; to name a few. Rather, I feel that your concern is more for your financial welfare and less for my health. This makes little sense to me because it seems that it would be less expensive to pay for the preventive screeings then to actually pay to treat the disease. Maybe next year your friendly reminder could include a donation to help cover the expenses incurred when I follow your advice to make sure that I schedule my preventive screenings. I'm just sayin...
