Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Christmas greetings from our house to yours.

Thank you to everyone for your kind comments on my last couple of posts. I really never planned on sharing such personal details of my life. It just felt like the right thing to do at the time. Thanks again for your kind words! Bloggy friends are the best!





I hope everyone had a great Christmas. Ours was very nice. All the kids wanted to sleep in the twins room Christmas eve so they had a sleepover. We told them they had to wait until 6:00 am before they came upstairs. I heard them downstairs at 5:30 but, they managed to wait until about 5:58 before they ventured upstairs. Scott and I listened with great pleasure at all the oohs and aahs as they walked up and turned on the lights to the tree. That is my favorite part every year. Just listening to them whisper with great excitement to each other before Mom and Dad come in the room.

Santa successfully found our house and all were delighted with what he had to offer this year. We even had a white Christmas for the first time in a long time. Yay!

We are enjoying the rest of our Christmas break as well. The kids and I are being lazy and enjoying our time together. Daddy had to go back to work the day after Christmas, but it was fun to have him home for a few extra days before Christmas.

We are so grateful for our many blessings this year and count ourselves lucky for all that our Heavenly Father has seen fit to bless us with. I hope that each of you is enjoying your holidays as well!

I apologize for not getting around to everyone's blogs as much as I would like. I've been trying to stay away from the computer during the kid's time off from school. I'll get there, I promise.
