It has been awhile since I've seen Jim. This morning I had my first of many dates with Jim. Jim and I have had an on-again off-again relationship for about 2 1/2 years. I usually only see Jim during the school year, it just works out better that way. Jim is nice enough to provide a sitter for Megan while we are together. Jim doesn't mind if I don't shower before our dates, or if I'm not dressed up. Jim doesn't even care if I get all sweaty and stinky. Though Jim is a great influence, I always leave our dates feeling tired and hungry.
The best thing about my relationship with Jim is that my husband is completely supportive. In fact all last week he kept asking me if I had called Jim yet to set up our first date now that the kids are back in school. Scott isn't jealous one bit. He much prefers my relationship with Jim than that Edward guy that was around a few weeks ago. He always asks me how my dates with Jim went and when I will see Jim again. He has even said that if he could he would go with me on my dates with Jim. I don't know what Jim would think about that, but I think it would be fun.
I bet you all never knew that a nice little Mormon girl such as myself could carry on such a relationship. Don't worry, Jim is really good for me.
Any ideas who Jim is? Maybe this will give you a hint.

That was really cute.
I'm so glad you and Jim got together. Good for you ; ) I hope you keep having dates together.
Cute post, Amanda! Jim is someone we should ALL be seeing-regularly!
Good for you!! Don't you feel better when you work out?
I've been feeling crappy lately so I went and ran this morning. I haven't done it all summer.
Funny we both got motivated and started on the same day!! Great minds think alike.
Oooooo.....a personal trainer, very chic!
This is such a clever post! You are funny!
Good luck visiting "Jim." I'm sure you will always come away feeling great!

tori: Good for you too! :) Yes, it felt awesome to be there again. I even stepped on the scale this morning fearing what the summer has done to me. I was surprised that I have stayed pretty steady. Yay!!!
deanne: A personal trainer would be awesome. Unfortunately they are way expensive. At least I get to go to the gym though. :)
m/mary: Thanks! My husband started teasing me several months ago about my relationship with "Jim". He is silly!
pj: Me, scandalous?? Never....:)
mel: At least I am a fit (well sort of) naughty momma! :)
Woo Hoo, somebody's got a Jim friend. So long as his names isn't Jim Bob; then I'd be worried;)

So Scott "...prefers my relationship with Jim than that Edward guy".
Maybe he thinks Jim is real and Edward is not.
HAHAHAHAHAHA!
This sounds very serious.

Cute post, amanda!
adorable post, amanda. i was guessing it was a gym trainer or a gym/spa person who gives those awesome massages. i never once thought you had an open marriage/affair. i just know you are a good girl :)
thank you for the great and sweet notes/emails today. you are so awesome, you know that? i hope you do. appreciate you, kathleen
I took down the post when I found out that some of my family reads my blog, but, my mom used to have two different loser boyfriends. She bought them both sports sandals but both of them got kicked to the curb before they could wear them and she gave them to me. So, my kids call them Mr. Mike and Mr. Jim. When I ask them to bring me my shoes, that's exactly what they say. "Which ones? Mr. Mike or Mr. Jim?"
I broke off my relationship with the Jim I met at the YMCA. He cost me too much money. But I've never given up my love affair with my Mr. Jim. He's very comforting and loves my feet even though my Papi doesn't.
I thought maybe you were talking about Jim from The Office but then I was like, "hey the new season hasn't started, what is she talking about? Does she have an ex she hangs with? Huh?"
I am so proud of you for hanging out with Jim (ie Gym)! Can you tell I am slow?
