Without further ado:
1. I was born in Salt Lake City, Utah.
2. I was born during a snow storm.
3. My parents were afraid they might not make it to the hospital.
4. We moved to Vernal, Utah when I was 4.
5. I have 2 older sisters and 1 younger brother.
6. I also have 2 step-brothers, one the same age as me and one the same age as my brother.
7. In Vernal we lived on a wannabe farm.
8. We had a cow, a horse, chickens, turkeys, (my dad is fluent in gobble) rabbits, dogs, cats....
9. We raised a couple of calves only to eat them later.
10. One of those calves we affectionately named 'dinner'.
11. The family joke was, "What are we having for dinner? Dinner."
12. My sister and I used to roller skate and we would choreograph our own dances.
13. We would perform our dances in the street in front of our house. I think we were quite good.
14. Too bad that reality shows weren't around back then. I'm sure we would have won. (In a blog it is hard to 'hear' my sarcasm)
15. This same sister and I would climb on the fence and sheds in our yard.
16. We could go completely around our yard (it was huge) without touching the ground.
17. I broke the same front tooth 3 different times.
18. I've never broken any bones.
19. When I was a little girl I wanted to grow up and be a lawyer like my Dad.
20. Little did I know that I would actually have to talk to people and being shy wouldn't serve me well in the court room.
21. My favorite family vacation was when we rented an RV and traveled to Southern Utah, New Mexico and Texas.
22. We went to Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico.
23. We visited Mesa Verde too. That is where I broke my tooth one of the 3 times.
24. While in Texas, I remember my cousins squishing tarantulas like it was no big deal. Ewwwww..
25 We moved back to SLC when I was 13.
26. I have been sailing and swimming in the Great Salt Lake.
27. My friends were all jealous when we moved to Salt Lake because we would be so close to the mall.
28. I never got the whole 'let's go hang out at the mall' thing.
29. Maybe I should have spent more time at the mall, I might have more fashion sense now.
30. I was shy and had a hard time making new friends when we moved.
31. I was totally boy crazy, but was too afraid to talk to boys.
32. I went on my first date 4 months before I turned 16.
33. I think my mom felt like I was doomed to a dateless high school experience, much like my sisters, so since a boy asked she should let me go.
34. I dated a little after that.
35. I somehow ended up with a boyfriend at 17.
36. I didn't have my first kiss until I was 17.
37. I've only kissed 2 other guys besides my husband.
38. Scott is by far the best!
39. I dated #35 the rest of high school and after I graduated.
40. I finally got smart at 20 and moved on.
41. I've only been to California once in my life.
42. I went there in high school on a choir trip.
43. I was in an earthquake in Los Angeles while on our choir trip.
44. My friend and I were playing in the elevators because that's what silly girls do when they've been deprived and sheltered and never been anywhere with that many floors before.
45. The earthquake scared the begezzies out of us, though it wasn't very bad.
46. Apparently the hotel was on rollers so it "rolled" more with the earthquake and felt much worse then it really was.
47. I worked as a pharmacy technician after high school and decided that I wanted to be a pharmacist.
48. I attended the University of Utah part-time while working full-time for a prescription insurance company.
49. By age 22 I felt the need to go on a mission.
50. This was more of I felt I was supposed to go on a mission rather than I actually wanted to go on a mission.
51. Luckily I listened to the promptings and I left on my mission in 1996.
52. I served a mission in the Harrisburg Pennsylvania mission.
53. I met my future husband while serving in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.
54. I knew Scott was 'the one' before he left Pennsylvania, though it would have been inappropriate to act on those feelings at the time.
55. We exchanged letters after he went home and we really got to know each other.
56. I met many other wonderful people and had many wonderful experiences in Pennsylvania.
57. I was given an early release from my mission for medical reasons and ended up only serving for 11 months.
58. Scott and I were married within 4 months of my coming home.
59. I was married and pregnant with my first child all before I would have been home from my mission.
60. He wanted to have 6 boys just like his parents.
61. I thought he was crazy.
62. After Jordan was born, Scott didn't want anymore kids, period.
63. I thought he was crazy, but was in no hurry to have more either.
64. Heavenly Father had other plans for us.
65. Not only did I get pregnant while on b!rth cont0l, but I got pregnant with twins.
66. We had 3 children in 2 years.
67. My husband didn't get his 6 boys.
68. He would rather quit now before we end up with 6 girls instead.
69. We have owned 20 cars in our 10 years of marriage.
70. Most of them we bought when they were wrecked and my husband fixed them up.
71. Some of them he bought to fix and turn around and sell to make money.
72. I love sunflowers.
73. My husband once told me that he planted all the sunflowers in the world for me.
74. Next time you are driving and you see sunflowers along the side of the road, think of me and how sweet my husband is.
75. We moved to South Dakota almost 6 years ago.
76. We have never lived in one place for this long.
77. It feels like it is time to move.
78. I once accidentally drank from someone else's Coor's Light can thinking it was my root beer.
79. Boy, was that the worst tasting root beer I've ever had!
80. I asked my husband later if I needed to surrender my temple recommend to him.
81. I have blue eyes.
82. Each of my children have blue eyes.
83. People often comment on how lovely my children's eyes are, yet fail to notice that they look exactly like mine.
84. My kids have all been born looking a lot like their Daddy.
85. Jordan is a miniature version of his Daddy.
86. My girls are starting to look more like me.
87. I've worn glasses or contacts since I was in 2nd grade.
88. Someday I would like to have Lasik.
89. I had braces when I was 21.
90. I had my wisdom teeth removed while I was awake.
91. I had each side done at two different times!
92. I don't recommend this to anyone!
93. I couldn't feel anything, but I could hear it.
94. After I had my wisdom teeth removed I went to a pharmacy I used to work at to get my prescriptions filled. It wasn't until I left that I realized that my teeth were all covered in blood, I must have looked so disgusting.
95. I like red.
96. Cherry red to be more specific.
97. My dream car is this.
98. I've had the opportunity to sing in the Tabernacle twice.99. Coming up with 100 things is harder than I thought.
100. If you are still reading, pat yourself on the back.
There you have it, my life in a nut shell.

23 people have something to say:
I love this post!! Your husband is so thoughtful to plant the sunflowers for you. :) I've been to the Carlsbad Caverns on a Temple trip to Mesa when I was a teen. And I lived in PA and have been in an earthquake in CA. I also drank from my dad's beer, but on purpose-I was not a member of the church then-and yuck! Okay, I will stop telling you all the things we have in common. Except I have a daughter with beautiful blue eyes. My brown eyed girl is named Amanda. :) That was fun-thanks for sharing!
Oh, and I was first! :)
Pat pat pat... (I'm patting myself on the back.:)
We have a lot in common actually. People always say Taj and Liv have "Blue eyes like their daddy." Um, ok. Mine are blue. More blue than his and BIGGER too. But no one notices. People are stupid.
I likey your dream car. If you get it I say Thelma and Louise roadtrip!!!!
...except we won't die at the end.
That was great. I chuckled at the roller skating--my sisters and I roller skated every weekend at a roller rink and we thought we were pretty good, too. I love to see the fields of sunflowers when they're in bloom when we travel through North Dakota on our way to Utah. My dad wanted boys and didn't stop until after he got 6 girls.
Such a fun post.
lisa: We do have a lot in common! :) Your daughters are Emily and Amanda I think....one of my sister's is named Emily.
Yay for being first! :D
tori: Yes, people can be stupid or unobservant or something sometimes. If I ever get my dream car I will drive to Utah and we can all go on a roadtrip!! Of course, no dieing at the end!
yvonne: Whenever we drive to the Bismark temple (at least when it is not winter) I love to see the sunflower fields. He planted those too. :D Maybe we should dust off our roller skates and partay! ;)
A Hotel on rollers?
I loved this list. I can pat my self on the back, because I EASILY read it all!
I can't believe you ate DINNER!
Hey, my DH is from the Basin!
I loved the "What's for dinner, Dinner" statement. Sounds like something said at our table growing up.
Your dream car is hot!! Give me a ride too, okay!
Great post:)
Happy 100th!
Very fun post.
I wish I went on a mission. Cool that you did:)
#17 and 18 are contradictory, as far as I'm concerned :)
This was a great post!
Very fun!
Someday I want to serve a mission!
Patting myself on the back right now!
Amanda, That was so fun! Scott was so cute to plant all those sunflowers just for you!
Deanne (fragile flower) and my sister Mary and maybe Heather and I used to make up roller skate programs, also. A BlogFest on Roller Skates would be sweet!
Here is a lame blogger question for you. How do get the strike out font in blogger?
I loved reading more about you. What a fun life you have had!
What a fun list! Your life is fun to read about :)
Happy 100th!!! I love 100s posts, and this one is one of my favorites :)
It was super fun to read. Now, we got to get you to come to our side of the country for a Bloggy Get-together.
You want me to pat myself on the back and rub my tummy at the same time?
It's a centennial celebration!
I was born during a freak blizzard....at the end of May. My daughters laugh when I say that a 'freak blizzard' brought me instead of the stork, It doesn't surprise them in the least.
Wow I feel like I know you much better now. I will think of you when I see a sunflower there are lots of them right now.
hi amanda:
this was so much fun. great job! these 100 lists are so cool to read. so liked yours. i really liked writing my 100th post about my 100 reasons why the Gospel means everything to me. and you were the first to comment on that and you totally made my day with the praise you told me.
you so rock, kathleen :)
100 things is hard to come up with. I added things in about my kids, since the blog is more about them anyway.
When You get your dream car, come get me and let's go drag race young punk kids in silly, what they think is fast, cars. I LOVE Mustangs. I really love mustangs. I want to drive one to church when my kids are grown. Then I can get to church really fast.
hi amanda:
i still like this post you wrote :)
okay, everytime i see a sunflower, i will think of you now.
totally neat how you got to know your hubby. awesome how you acted on that prompting to go. otherwise, you would probably never have met him. i think it is fascinating sometimes how different decisions you make through life lead you to future experiences. but our lives are way neater than "back to the future" plots.
thanks for writing this, fun to get to know you a tad better.
thanks for the sweet email this morning. you rock.
your friend,
kathleen :)
#73 is Awwwwwwww! :)
How fun to learn so many new things about you! Oh and I think your sense of style is just fine! :)
