Borrowing an idea

I don't remember when I discovered PJ's blog Wild Daisies, but I've been hooked ever since. Who wouldn't be with her quick wit, great photos and adorably cute girls. Awhile back she started another blog all about feeding her wild daisies. I love to share recipes and thought it was such a great idea. I hope she doesn't mind that I stole borrowed her idea.

Keep in mind it is a work in progress. Some of the recipes have already been shared before on this blog, but there are some new ones there too. I thought this would also be a great way to help me organize my recipes. Feel free to check it out and even try a recipe or two if you like.

I am not in any way shape or form a gourmet cook. I go through spurts. Somedays I like cooking other days it is merely a form of survival - we have to eat so I have to cook. My husband claims that I am an excellent cook, the best there is. He is a very, very smart man. He knows exactly how to bribe the hand that feeds him.

I just glanced over at your food blog. I love how you have it organized with labels for easy finding and snatching! I'm definitely coming back for a more in-depth look, and I think I'll have to swipe a few before I leave too!

Cool! Thanks!

It's 100 degrees during August in Houston so we don't cook a lot unless it's on the grill. We also have a lot of mouths to feed so I rely heavily on bargain and marked down stuff at the store and then I throw it into the crockpot.

I should start a recipe blog too. The White Trash Gourmet!

The recipe blog is GREAT. Love how you have the pictures with the recipe. You solved my "What's for dinner tonight?" problem.

Thanks.

Love the new blog! Although I have a shelf full of cookbooks and subscribe to cooking magazines, it's always nice to find new recipes and ideas.

Hi! I found you through NCS. I love recipes and trying new things. I often say-"what did we eat back then" because I can't think of anything to make.

EWBL-send me your best "white trash" crockpot recipes. I need them! There are several nights my kids eat in the car if I don't have something in the crock pot!!
