Good Mail
Thank you to Renee for the fun package complete with more cards for me to use for good mail. :-) She even included cards by Mary Engelbreit, who is a favorite of mine. I also got a fun postcard from Catherine, who sadly does not have a blog that I can link to. Today I got a surprise from The Smiling Infidel herself. She included a super secret magnet for me, evidently I am now a part of a super secret society. What an honor and a privilege! I will display my super secret magnet proudly! Thank you all for the great good mail!
The good news
I stepped on the scale yesterday to find that much to my delight I had lost another pound. I was totally excited. Then this morning I stepped on the scale again to see if it was just a fluke and guess what....I was down another pound. That makes 7 pounds I have lost so far. I won't be stepping on the scale for a few days now, just in case my scale was messed up and it was all a lie. I mentioned to my husband Kimberly's great idea of earning $20 for every pound lost. He agreed that I could do the same thing. Seeing as how at that point I had only lost 5 pounds since January, he probably wasn't thinking he would have to fork out much. Now I have lost two pounds since then! Kaching!!
More good news!
One more thing so as to make it look even more like I am trying to be like Kimberly...I am going to Utah in July too. It is looking like the kids and I will be going around the 25th or so to visit my family in Salt Lake City. Sadly, Scott will probably not be accompanying us. I am looking forward to being able to visit my family, and possibly meet some of my blog friends that live in Utah. Anyone??

A couple gals (DeDee at the Quiltmaker's Gift and Lara of The Lazy Organizer) are batting around ideas right now. Currently on the table is the idea of meeting at the Salt Lake City Children's Museum Thursday the 26th. It would be soooo exciting to get to meet you too!
