Happy Birthday Kim and Kay!

You've come a long way my sweet babies. I am not a poet and these poems say it better than I could....

I am the luckiest mom around
Because I get twice the love
My life has been doubly blessed
with my two angels from above.

As I look around my house I see
every toy strewn about
with two angelic faces looking up at me I know without a doubt,
That this is what God has planned for me,
And as I lay them down to sleep
I thank the Lord for Kimberly and Kaylynn
and for placing them in my keep.

Though they may be double the trouble
they are double the fun as well
Twice the hugs & twice the kisses,
and double the stories I can tell.
I'm not sure how I got so lucky,
but I'm so glad that God has chosen me
to be the mommy of twin girls
who are as sweet as they can be.
*************
TWINS
There's two to wash, there's two to dry,
There's two to argue, there's two to cry,
One's in the mud having a ball,
The other has a crayon, just look at the wall!
Some days seem endless, patience grows thin,
Why were we chosen to be parents of twins?
The answer is clear at the end of the day,
As we tuck them in bed, to each other we say,
There are two to kiss; there are two to hug,
And best of all, there are two to Love!

pj: Thanks for visiting! Girls are fun.

mary: They were very small. It was scary changing their diapers the first couple of times. I was afraid I might hurt them.

hi amanda: awesome post. so sweet what you wrote about your girls. you are so blessed and it is neat to see you really appreciate them.

we have two girls also, they are teens now though (16 and 15). i am grateful we had them when we first got married because years later, i had too many female problems and had to have a hysterectomy, so never would have been able to have any (if we hadn't had them right off the bat). it's good to remember to be grateful.

thanks for sharing :)

Your girls are so cute! I loved the photos through the years.
That bit about the animals being created by preschoolers was hilarious, too! It's as good an explanation as any :)
