Last year for our Relief Society Super Saturday, a day when the ladies from our church get together and make crafts, one of the projects we could make was a Santa Claus plate. The plate is for the cookies that you leave out for Santa Claus on Christmas Eve. Well I signed up to make one. They supplied the paints, markers, plate etc. that were needed to make the plate. I asked more than once if it was okay to wash the plate and was reassured each time that it would be just fine. So I proceeded with my project writing a little note in permanent marker to santa about cookies for him and carrots for the reindeer. I added little dots, using paint, to each letter. It turned out very cute. We successfully used it last year and I am sure that Santa was very pleased with the way in which his cookies were presented to him, on such a cute plate and all. Then I washed it. The words faded a little, but you could still read it. Then I put it in with all the christmas decorations. When I pulled it out of the box this year it looked like this:

If only I could remember what I wrote last year so that I could connect the dots!

Too funny!!!
LOL!!! Maybe Santa still remembers from last year what it said! ;)
I agree with suzanne - trust santa's memory! ~lol~ You are hilarious!
Oh, that's hilarious!
Do you think that maybe the issue your having with Blogger/Googgle is how your account is set up? I remember somthing about choosing how my name would appear on comments/posts when I set up my new googgle account. If that is the case with you maybe you can change it somehow??? Just a thought.
Now that I'm all switched over and such I have not had any problems like I was having last week. It's a hassle to get logged in, but other than I find the switch to be 'ok'. Hopefully things will smooth out for you soon.
Deanne, I thought of that. I went and checked and my blogger display name is amanda. Sometimes when I comment it is right, but other times it isn't. For some reason it also keeps trying to use my gmail address instead of my regular email address. Maybe I need to delete my gmail address. I don't use it anyway. I know that I am computer illeterate, but this is ridiculous.
Hola Amanda, welcome to Beta Disappointment Land.
Today it actually got better for me, maybe tomorrow it'll get better and the next day and the next day, until one day I’d have reached Blogger Nirvana.
LOL about the plate (thought I was looking at a little town), guess what, same thing happen to us, we worked for along time on this “Birthday plate”, it was beautiful, it was fun and colorful, until I washed it.
At least Santa got to use yours once.
PS. I sent you and e-mail at your msn account.
The Santa at the mall tried to convince my kids that he knew where their grandparents lived by saying, "Oh yeah, I know where they live. They don't have a fireplace do they?" WRONG, SANTA! I guess since I told him they lived in So Cal, there was a pretty good chance they didn't build fires. Doh!
Great idea itybtyfrog! Maybe that is what I'll do.
NCS, I got your email thanks! Sorry about your birthday plate.
