Millie from Throughly Mormon Millie had this meme on her blog yesterday. I thought it was a fun one so I wanted to play along.
Four jobs I have had in my life:
1 - my very first job was working at Dan's Foods in Salt Lake City. I started out as a bagger, do they still have those anymore? I later was 'promoted' to cashier. I worked for awhile in the bakery which was VERY dangerous. If anyone is familiar with Dan's chocolate chocolate cake donuts you will understand why. My bakery manger told me I could sample anything because afterall, I had to know how it tasted.
2 - Pharmacy Technician at Dan's Foods. I was lucky enough to get a chance to work in the pharmacy at Dan's. I later worked as a pharmacy tech at Shopko and later at Walmart.
3 - customer service representative at Scrip Card (no longer exists). Scrip Card was a prescription insurance company based in Salt Lake.
4 - Wife/mother/housekeeper - best/hardest/most frustrating/most rewarding job I have ever had.
Four movies I would watch over and over:
1- Anne of Green Gables 2- Brother Bear 3- Sound of Music 4-Ever After
Four places I have lived:
1- Vernal, Utah 2- Tooele, Utah (if you are not familiar with Tooele it is pronounced two-will-la, not tool-lee :D)3-Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania 4- Carlisle, Pennsylvania
Four TV shows that I watch:
1- Lost 2-The Nine I have been trying to cut back on TV lately, so this is pretty much what I watch. Occasionally I will catch ER or Without a Trace
Four places I've been on vacation:
1- Carlsbad Caverns 2- Estelline, Texas My Dad has family from there. We went there a couple of times while I was growing up. I'll have to do a memory monday about that. 3-We went camping a lot in Southern Utah as a kid. We went to canyonlands, arches, zions, bryce canyon.
Four websites I visit often:
1- lds.org 2-bloglines 3-dogpile.com (my favorite search site) 4- theideadoor.com (I used to go here a lot when I was still primary secretary)
Four of my favorite foods:
1- Sesame Chicken from Imperial Chinese Restaurant 2- Tilapia from Red Lobster 3- Fettucine Alfredo from Olive Garden 4- Grilled Chicken Romano Panini from Schlotzky's (my current favorite lunch)
Four places I'd rather be right now:
1- Aruba 2- Jamaica 3-anywhere warmer and less windy 4- Some romantic bed and breakfast with my hubby
If anyone would like to play along go ahead. Have a great day!

8 people have something to say:
i love the fettucini alfredo at olive garden. yum.
That was fun to read. and i totally agree about the mom being the hardest yet most rewarding job ever.
I love Lost and The Nine! Wednesday night, the t.v. belongs to me! ;)
All that food you listed sounds so good! Have you been to Aruba and Jamaica before? Sounds great! Especially now that the snow is beginning to fly here...
Fun Meme! :)
Lost - bummer about all the reruns - and I am not watching that show about the same day happening over and over again - the adds for it are making me a crazy woman.
I'm not sure I've even eat at Schlotzky's Deli. Hmmm. Maybe we should head there next time, instead of MickyD's.
I love Scholtzky's. It's one of my favorites. I always get the vegetarian pizza, which sounds weird but it's so so good!
Hey, do you know a boy who worked at Dan's market named Lorin W.? I have no idea if there are lots of those stores in Salt Lake, so it's worth a try.
I agree with Wendy, the commercials for the show replacing LOST for the next few months are making me crazy. Will not watch it.
I like this Meme, lots of little bits of info to get stalk...I mean, get to know you better.
"1- Aruba 2- Jamaica 3-anywhere warmer and less windy" Girl, you guys need some warmth over there.
Drink lots of cocoa ok?
I love Anne of Green Gables
We were thinking of moving to Vernal, but it would've meant a major pay cut (which is kind of not what we were after). We have a Schlotzky's here too - I should check it out sometime.
millie: Vernal was a great place to grow up. I haven't been there in years, I imagine it has changed a lot. You should check out Schlotzky's. It is good.
NCS: Yes, lots of cocoa!
Mary: I don't recall anyone by that name. There were I think 6 Dan's stores at one point. I am not sure how many are left.
utmommy: I'll have to try their vegetarian pizza. Sounds good.
wendy: It's a date! Yeah I am a little lost without Lost. I didn't watch that other show last night.
suzanne: No I have never left the US. I was actually thinking of that song by the Beach Boys, "Aruba, Jamaica, ooh I wanna take ya Bermuda, Bahama, come on pretty mama Key Largo, Montego, baby why don't we go, Jamaica".
andrea: Yes, I love Olive Garden. Being a mom is definitely a challenge somedays.
