after I leave the gym I want a cheeseburger and a shake? Maybe it is because I drive past Hardee's on my way home.
I haven't updated my "healthy living" blog for a couple of days so here it goes:
Thursday - no exercise because I had a Primary Presidency meeting at Wendy's house. Have I mentioned that I am going to miss Wendy and her family when they leaves us for Hawaii. One REALLY hard thing about being in a military ward is having to say goodbye to good friends when they move on to bigger and better, or in this case warmer places.
Friday - I went to the gym and did their PACE class. This class is my gym's version of Curves.
Saturday - I was going to exercise Saturday morning, but instead I read the newspaper on the couch while my hubby made breakfast. Then we all spent the day outside working in the yard. I figure mowing the lawn (we have a huge yard) and picking up leaves counted as my exercise for the day.
Sunday - To me Sunday is one of my most active days. Being the secretary in the Primary I get to do lots of walking to pass out rolls, knock on doors, check on classes, etc etc. Yesterday the kids practiced their Sacrament meeting program, so their was a lot less walking required.
This morning I went to the gym and did the treadmill for 30 minutes. My visiting teachers are coming this morning so I couldn't stay too long.
CELING FAN UPDATE
In case you were wondering, yes my husband did get the celing fan fixed. Saturday morning I told him that I would LOVE to help him fix the fan. So we did. Much easier and not nearly as hot this time. I had bought a new switch months ago to replace the broken one. In a matter of minutes the fan was finally working the right way. That means I can now sleep at night without a breeze. Thank you Scott!

10 people have something to say:
I consider Primary equal to a full 3 mile work out. All those toys to drag around. I am feeling bad for the next ladies who will have to take over the toy round up. But maybe they will be smarter and find a way to get someone else to do it!
Primary is a workout ALL by itself! No more excersise necessary! (I'm the chorister in our ward...I'm always dancing around entertaining the kids!) I consider doing singing time my workout for the week! (I know...I'm naughty...) And since I had to do it TWICE yesterday that means I'm good for 2 weeks, right!? :D
We are practicing our primary program too. All that bending to whisper kids' lines into their ears so they can repeat them into the microphone could count as inverted situps or something for me, right?
Congratulations on the fixed fan!
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Isn't it great how many things can be exercise? I would count yardwork any day. On days I spend a long time cleaning the house, I count that too! :)
Your yard IS huge! cool!
Glad you got your ceiling fan fixed, even if the unfixed version was more "bloggable".
Why do friends have to move? I wish they'd stop that :(
Good job on the working out. Yard work totally counts! And yes, so does primary.
Wendy, yes the totes! I guess I am lucky to not have to move the totes. Thanks for all you do!!
dawynel, you must be such a fun chorister! I am sure the kids love you.
mary, totally count them as crunches or something!
suzanne, housework is great exercise too. And hey, you accomplish two things at once.
no cool story, I think my yard is "super" huge. ;D Especially when I have to mow it. My ceiling fan was great blogging material. I've decided if you want your husband to get something done you should blog about it and make sure you tell him you blogged about it!
Good job on all the exercise! Keep it up.
I think it's great that you're keeping track of it on your blog - I should've done that, it would've made me more accountable. :)
HA!, that's great, whenever DH does something not my way I say:"I'm going to blog about this and all my bloggy sisters will be on my side", he just laughs, because he knows, I got nothing on him.
:D
