I was tagged by Kim, not Kimberly or Kimmy, at Ramblings for this 'weird' meme. I don't know if I can go and publicly admit what is weird about me, especially 10 things. Let's see....
1. I am afraid of the dark. Yes, I am. I have been known to run up the stairs quickly before the 'boogie man' can get me. This is usually brought on after I have watched a scary movie or TV show, which to me could be CSI. We watched "When a Stranger Calls" the other night. Needless to say I haven't slept well the last couple of days. By the way, it wasn't that great a movie.
2. I like to read obituaries. I get this from my mom. It used to be I was looking for any of our pharmacy customers because we had a particularly older clientele.
3. I have a planning/follow through disorder. I make great plans and have great ideas and even get them down on paper sometimes in the form of to-do lists or other types of lists. I just have problems following through.
4. I obsess about my blog posts and comments. I could spend hours (or at least several 10's of minutes) writing, checking and rewriting, just to make sure I said the right thing or spelled everything correctly. Even then I am almost afraid sometimes to hit the publish button.
5. I met my husband while serving a mission. We were both missionaries and got to be good friends. He went home and we started writing. We were married within 4 months of my coming home.
6. At my eighth birthday party we had a mini "devotional". I shared a scripture and everything. I was older than most of my friends and I guess since I was old enough to be baptized and all I thought I was their spiritual leader or something. I don't know. Just plain weird.
7. I thought this was cool.
8. I am a shy person. I have a hard time being the one to initiate conversations and friendships. My mission helped with this tremendously, but I still have my moments of insecurity and awkwardness.
9. Do I really have to go on. I have revealed enough about me to be just cause for committing me. Anyone know any good shrinks in South Dakota??
10. I am secretly in love with BrAd Pitt. Just kidding I am not, but I just can't think of one more weird thing about me.
So I pass this meme on to: Suzanne, Wendy, Millie and last, but not least, Super happy girl herself. Feel free to limit it to 1 or 2 or however many weird things you want. No pressure! And for anyone else that would like to write about their weirdness in comments feel free! Let's all celebrate our weirdness.

12 people have something to say:
It's fun getting to know you better. Thanks for tagging me! I'll have mine up by tomorrow! I'm the same as you about being obsessive with my posts! :D
Oh you are so weird.
I'm with you on #1, it's so silly, because I know there's no one there (and that's what I'm telling myself right now, in the light), yet I have to outRUN the boogie man.
#6, what a cute child you were, awww, a little devotional :D
#7, hmm, actually that's kind of cool. Have you watched them when they wrap their food? It’s pretty nifty.
Thanks for tagging me, I'll work on it.
I'm going to ask my familia for help on this one.
I could have honestly written #3, #5, #6 and #8. So maybe that means you are not weird? Or just that we are weird together?
My husband and I never served in the same area, but he kept in touch after he went home, and as luck would have it, his parents moved close to my hometown not long after...
And OK, I didn't have a devo at my birthday party, but I insisted that the missionaries come and teach me before I was baptized because I wanted to do it "right." Such earnestness. :)
Yay, a meme!! I'll get that up ASAP. Thanks for the tag!
There were several of yours that I think I'll just leave in my post because they describe me pretty well too! :)
Thanks Amanda, I think. I am pretty weird, but maybe it's best if I just keep some of that weird stuff to myself! I'll write up some good stuff tonight.
I love the devotional at your birthday party - that really cracks me up!
And I think the spider wrapping incident was the first post of yours that I read when I was spying on you!
These are weird?! (Just kidding!) I love it! I can totally relate to #1! UGH! Anyway...love it! :)
OK, mine's up! :)
suzanne, no cool story, millie and wendy, I look forward to reading yours. :)
Code yellow, that is funny that you met your husband on your mission too and the missionaries teaching you. lol
dawnyel, I couldn't think of anything weirder. I know I am weird, but to define it is hard.
Starting to freak a little. Secret Agent Man and I met as missionaries also. We met in the MTC. I went to Venezuela. He went to Paraguay. We were engaged 2 weeks after he got home. We were married 3 and a half months later. Most of our courtship was spent apart. We really got to know each other after we were married.
a payne, that is too weird. Are you sure we are not twin sisters seperated at birth??
I'm so with you on the shyness and the obsessive about posts thing!
Luvin' the weirdness!
