The breakfast

Ghost pancakes, scrambled goblin brains with assorted other goblin body parts (diced fingers and toes) with a side of vampire blood. Looks tasty huh!
The costumes

Kaylynn: bat girl, Kimberly: Hannah Montana, Jordan: biker boy, Megan: pink kitty
The loot
This is only part of it. Megan wasn't about to dump the precious contents of her bucket onto the floor. The Witch
I keep telling my kids that I am a witch all year, but only at Halloween do I get to "come out of the closet".-------------------------------------
Thanks to Lauren (who came up with the idea) and a few of my other weight loss blogging friends (go Yvonne, Chel, Mel, Tori:) !), today I am starting a 21 day fast from sugar. This includes candy, chocolate, cookies, cake, ice cream, sugary drinks, etc, etc. I am trying not to panic. I went 3 months without chocolate so really this shouldn't be too bad. Right? Luckily I will be done in time to pig out on Thanksgiving! :) By the time I'm done, I might really turn into a witch. Wish me luck!
Anyone like to join us?

Cute costumes! Food sounds totally gross, but probably tasted good! I love how you "come out of the closet"! How funny!
Amanda, I think I might be brave! I'll try your 21 day fast from sugar if you be my buddy, you know, like AA? I'm kind of scared, but I think it might be a good thing for me and my lower half! Ha! Ha!
I need a sugar fast, too. I do pretty good most of the time, but it's time to be serious.
I'm in.
You are cute witch. I love the look in that picture.
I somehow accumulated ten+ bags of Halloween candy this year...Boy its good chocolate keeps well. Some of it will become Stocking Stuffers for Christmas I think!
Oh- it WILL be bad. I'm positive of that. I will be a witch 24-7. I'm starting tomorrow since I forgot and ate candy today. :)
Maybe we should change the blog title to "Witches of Nov 2008". *giggle*
Hairy Eye Ball!
spooky!
I love the sugar fast month. I think I will join you starting tomorrow (fast sunday is a good day to start, dontcha think?)
I went two weeks without sugar, and I mean-none. Not a drop of real sugar (it's in everything). Then I caved and ate cookie dough and I feel like crap. (not guilty crap. Sick crap.) I'm back on track and reading labels and not eating candy. :(
How did you make the face in the pancakes? Pretty cute! So are the costumes!
Amanda,
I fell off the wagon. My name is Mary and I'm a sugaraholic! I lasted one whole day, how sad is that?
Good luck to you though! I know if anyone can do it, you can!
Love the witch-look ; )
I love the breakfast--I bet the kids really enjoyed it.
The kids look so cute in their costumes.
I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT!!!!
ooie-fun breakfast:D
Cute costumes
No sugar? I think you are all brave. Good luck, U Can Do It:)
I'll have to get more recipes from you! We had your zucchinni meatloaf last week and tonight Eden asked if I could make dinner like that sometime. And I love your "gross" Halloween breakfast. Good luck on the no sugar thing. I'm sure it would be good for me, but I know I wouldn't last a single day right now.
Cute costumes! Good luck with not eating sugar. I tried before and only lasted a couple weeks.
