Enough blasting already

I don't know about you, but I've had enough of my blasts from the past. It seemed like a good idea at the time and it really has been nice that my blog has pretty much written itself the last two weeks while I've been on vacation, but enough is enough.

I've been in Utah for nearly 2 weeks now. Our time has gone by quickly. For some reason this time I've been anxious to get home nearly the entire time. I hate being away from Scott for this long, I know that is a huge part of it. I just really, really miss him. I have an even greater appreciation for our military friends and the sacrifices they make in being away from their spouses and families for such a long time. I don't know if I could do it!

This trip has also been a trip down memory lane. My mom is in the process of packing and getting ready to move after 20 years (another source of stress on this trip). In the process we have been going through lots of her things and lots of memories have come back (some good, some not so good). I am happy that my mom is finally moving out of her house and moving into something smaller and more manageable, but it is sad to say goodbye too. Luckily her house is being bought by my best friend from high school so that I can come back and visit. :)

I will have lots of pictures and more to share when I get home. It has been a good visit, but I am ready to be home. We are leaving on Sunday, so I will have more to share next week.

6 people have something to say:

I don't like being away from Allen for very long either. He is my rock.

Have a safe trip home.

That's cool about your best friend buying your mom's home. It will be fun to see what she does to make it hers.

Look forward to pics and next week.
