Friday Feast

Appetizer
Tell about a time when you had to be brave.
The silly side: Every time a spider or other scary bug is found in our house. Even my husband is scared of spiders. I remember early in our marriage being surprised that a farm boy was afraid of an itty bitty spider. He has gotten braver and recently told him he killed a black wid0w spider in our shed. I didn't really need to know that!
The serious side: When Jordan and
Megan were in the hospital as babies. Jordan spent a week in the hospital when he was 2 months old because of a heart condition he was born with. Both experiences were very scary, feeling very helpless and unsure of what was going to happen. Thankfully they are both free of any of the problems that landed them in the NICU/PICU.

Soup
Which upcoming movie are you excited about seeing?
I am looking forward to seeing Pirates of the Caribbean. I loved the first one, the second one was a little disappointing, so I'm hoping the third one will be better.
Shrek the Third looks very good too.

Salad
Name an item you try to always have on hand.
Toilet paper. There are many things that I could make due without, but toilet paper is not one of them. Tell me you don't feel the same way?!?

Main Course
Imagine the most relaxing room you can think of. Now describe it!
I've always liked those
sunrooms. The rooms with big windows that let the warmth and light of the sun in. I imagine one of these rooms with a big comfy couch and a soft blanket, perfect for snuggling, napping or reading a book.

Dessert
On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being highest), how spiritual or religious are you?

I consider myself to be very religious (10). However I don't consider myself to be as spiritual, something I would like to work on. In my mind the two don't always go hand in hand. Spirituality, probably a 7.

Still hungry?

How fun! I love sun rooms too and I'm also excited to see Pirates of the Caribbean! How scary with your kids being in the hospital and with the helicopter flight with your twins, I'm sure you've had enough of hospitals to last you a lifetime!

P.S. I love your new blog look, but then you probably already know that I like flowers! :)

a sunroom does not seem relaxing to me - I would be all worried about fingerprints or bird poop on the glass.

we are looking forward to Shrek and Pirates, too, although I've never actually seen Pirates #2 all the way through.

suzanne: Yes, it was scary. It all could've been much worse. I'm glad it wasn't! I'm glad you like my new look. I think the picture is too big, but oh well.

wendy: I didn't think about those things. Thanks for ruining for me. wink wink!

becca: Thanks! I fell in love with this picture when I saw it!
