For the last two days my friend Kendra and I have been up to our arm pits in peaches, or is it up to our arms in peach pits. Something like that. We started with two boxes of peaches and this is what we have to show for it:6 jars of peach jam (my son took two jars this morning to his teacher's at school)
8 jars of peach syrup (it started out as jam, but didn't set so that makes it syrup. LOL)
14 jars of sliced peaches
7 containers of peach freezer jam
4 containers of sliced peaches (for freezer)
We will be enjoying the fruits of our labors far into the winter when fresh peaches are a thing of the past. I can hardly wait!
